Terms and Conditions – VEDA Wallet

These terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) are applicable to your use of VEDA Wallet, the
branding for the closed system prepaid instrument issued by Company. By registering for or using VEDA Wallet, you signify your agreement to be bound by these T&Cs and our Privacy Policy. Further details on our Privacy Policy can be found on www.vedajewel.co/pages/privacy-policy.

A) Registration and Access

To register for VEDA Wallet, you must Be an Indian citizen, resident in India
Have attained the age of 18 years Have a valid account on our “Website” (www.vedajewel.co) or and our VEDA application for mobile and handheld devices (the “App”) (together called the “Platform”) At the time of onboarding, you will be required to provide minimum details such as your name, address, date of birth and mobile number (verified through OTP). You will be allowed to use only one VEDA Wallet at any given point of time. This is a reloadable product and can be used for only purchasing goods and services from the Platform, in a manner prescribed under these T&Cs and as communicated by Company from time to time.

B) VEDA Wallet Recharge

You will be able to load in your VEDA Wallet maximum INR 10,000/- per month. In
addition, the available balance in such VEDA Wallet shall not exceed INR 10,000/- at any given point of time. The same balance will be available for purchases from the Platform. Customers who hold balance of INR 5,000/- or more currently will not be allowed to perform any further load till such balances reach below the INR 5,000/- threshold.

Money can be loaded through online payment methods such as domestic credit/debit card and net banking. However, you will not be able to use prepaid cards, EMI, cards issued outside India or a combination of the aforementioned options to add/load amount to your VEDA Wallet.

You will not be able to transfer money from your VEDA Wallet to any other VEDA wallet
and/or bank accounts. Money will not be refunded to you under any circumstances. No refund will be provided in cash, at any point of time. No interest will be paid on your VEDA Wallet balance at any point of time. However, the balance loaded to your VEDA Wallet shall remain usable indefinitely.

At certain times, Company may add certain balances to your VEDA Wallet as a part of its promotional activities (the “Promotional Balance”). Such Promotional Balance shall expire within 6 months of the date of credit. In case you place an order using Promotional Balance that is subsequently refunded, the refunded Promotional Balance shall expire within 15 days of the date of credit. Note: Only 20% of promotional balance is applied while checkout.

Jewellery. Company can, at its sole discretion, reverse any Promotional Balance credited to your VEDA Wallet.

C) Permissible Use

VEDA Wallet balance can only be redeemed towards the purchase of eligible products
offered by Company. The amount of purchase will be deducted from your VEDA Wallet. No cash withdrawal will be permitted at any point in time, to any customer.

D) Fraud

Where the mobile number being used to access VEDA Wallet gets stolen/ lost, you are
required to immediately inform Company about the same. Such complaint can be reported at the customer care as mentioned under these T&Cs. Company reserves the right to restrict transaction on such account, in order to prevent any unauthorized usage of the VEDA Wallet.

In case of change in email or mobile number, you are required to intimate Company
immediately. Company will not be liable for any fraudulent transactions undertaken prior to intimation to Company about the change in your details.

Company may suspend or discontinue your access / use to or of your VEDA Wallet, for any reason at any time without written notice to you. In addition, Company may suspend your use of your VEDA Wallet if it suspects that such transaction or your VEDA Wallet is being or is likely to be used without authorization, fraudulently, suspiciously or is otherwise unusual based on prior transaction activity / history and as per our internal fraud controls.

E) Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore. You agree to indemnify Company for all claims brought by a third party against it or its affiliates arising out of or in connection with a breach of any of these T&Cs and your use of VEDA Wallet.

F) Limitation of Liability

VEDA WALLET, AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU ARE PROVIDED BY COMPANY ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL RESPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE OPERATION OF VEDA WALLET, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS. IN NO EVENT WILL
COMPANY OR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR OTHER
REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY
KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO VEDA WALLET.

G) General Terms

Company reserves the right to make changes to these T&Cs governing VEDA Wallet, at any time, in its sole discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. Please refer the ‘Last Updated’ legend in theses T&Cs for the date of the last update to these T&Cs. By continuing usage of VEDA Wallet, you agree to be bound by such changes/revisions.
